Bayan Indah Cooking Class

My wife and I enjoy good Asian food and we had been a little disappointed as much of the local food used a lot of monosodium glutamate to which I am allergic. However, someone recommended I try to do my own cooking at Bayan Indah and we had a really smashing time with Rohani Jaleni, the owner. She was funny, witty, very knowledgeable and a very good teacher. The meal we cooked was just fantastic, by far the best meal we had in the 10 days we spent in Malaysia. I am still salivating thinking about it.

The kitchen and the whole house was also wonderful and very very beautiful, set against a rainforest hill. This is a really remarkable place and I am stunned we have never heard about it before we came. This place is the best thing to do in all of Kuala Lumpur, by a long, long chalk!
