Foundation Stone For Pillar

These stones were among the artefacts discovered in the Bujang Valley, Kedah. They are believed to have been used as foundation for wooden pillars in a Hindu-Buddhist temple somewhere between the 5th and the 12th centuries AD.

This discovery among others, demonstrates the presence of civilization and government in the Bujang Valley.
