Tun Razak Memorial
The Memorial Tun Abdul Razak was the official residence of Malaysia's second and third Prime Ministers. It was formerly known as Sri Taman.

It was originally built as a residence of Tun Abdul Razak in 1961. He lived there from 1962 until his death in Januari 1976.
The third PM, Tun Hussein Onn, stayed at the residence until 1981.
The Memorial Tun Abdul Razak was officially opened as memorial on 6 May 1982 by Dato Seri Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. He proposed that the Seri Taman be turned into a memorial in honor of the late Tun Abdul Razak for his dedication and service to the country.
On display at this memorial are photographs, materials and film shows on the life and achievements of Malaysia's second PM, also known as 'Father of Development'. He was fondly remembered for his contribution towards rural development and social justice.

How to get to the Tun Razak Memorial
Taxi
- By far the simplest way is by taxi. It should cost you no more than RM15 per taxi per way, anywhere within Kuala Lumpur. Alight at the KL Bird Park main entrance. It is less than 5 minutes walk away from the bird park.
- To go back to the city, wait at the Bird Park. There are usually taxis prowling for customers there.
Bus
- Take the RapidKL bus numbers B101 or B112. Alight at the Dayabumi Complex and walk (5 minutes) towards Masjid Negara. From there it is a short walk up the small hill towards the memorial. Cost - RM2 per person.
- If you use the KL Hop-On-Hop-Off alight at the memorial. Cost between RM12 to RM65 per person, depending on the package you select.
KTM Kommuter
- Stop at the Old Kuala Lumpur Railway Station. Walk towards Masjid Negara. The Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens is located right behind the Masjid Negara. This should cost you no more than RM2 per person.
